congratulations to our
2019 micah award honorees
steve and lindA fotter
The prophet Micah calls us to consider what it means to live in God's expectations for us and give us guidance on how to live up to those expectations -
"He has shown us what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
Honoring local heroes from the Kennebec Valley who especially live out Micah's words is what the KVO MICAH (Ministry In Community Action Honoree) Awards Dinner is all about!
Those receiving the award are people who have used their gifts on behalf of others, have touched many lives, and have made a difference in their organization and in the larger community.
Steve and Linda Fotter have spent the last 17 years making music together and blessing their
community while doing so. Over his 17 year career, Steve and his wife, Linda, have organized a
Warming Up for Christmas concert and donated the proceeds to charitable organizations.
The Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter has been the recipient of their benefit for several of those years.
This year, the Warming up for Christmas concert raised $14,300 for the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter!
Steve and Linda and their students have helped to raise over $150,000 for area
non-profits over the last 17 years!
Steve and Linda have never taken credit for their success.
They are kind, loving and caring people who only want to give to others.
We are grateful, thankful and blessed that they have shared their love and supported
the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter over the last 17 years.
