Rent Smart

Rent Smart A 6-session class focusing on being a good tenant, developed by the University of Wisconsin. Outcomes of class graduates are equivalent to 2 years of positive rental history.  The content includes landlord relationships, unit upkeep, financial skills, and the laws regarding a lease.
The class is taught at the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter by our Housing Navigators and Case Managers. We believe Rent Smart is an integral part of our guests’ success. ​
